I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. The decoration had a charming traditional touch, with beautiful floral patterns and comfortable seating areas. The general areas were well-maintained and easy to navigate, which is important for us seniors. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with any needs or questions we had.
I would have appreciated a larger selection of activities specifically tailored for seniors.

The hotel's decoration was classic and elegant, with beautiful antique furniture and charming paintings on the walls. It created a warm and cozy atmosphere, reminding me of the good old days. The general areas like the lounge and breakfast room were spacious and well-maintained, providing ample space for relaxation and socializing. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the hotel had easy access with ramps and elevators, making it convenient for me to move around without any difficulty.
I wish the hotel had more activities specifically tailored for senior guests. Perhaps some organized tours or events that cater to our interests and needs.

During my xmas trip, I really enjoyed staying in this family-run hotel. First of all, the staff members were very friendly and hospitable. the hotel provided a well-furnished room with all necessary facilities. the hotel's location was perfect as it was situated in a quiet countryside close to the city. I also loved the free parking service offered by the hotel.
One thing that I didn't like about this hotel was that it was slightly cold due to the exceptionally cold weather during my stay. Although the heating struggled a bit, I think thicker duvets would have been helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Het Landhuis. the room, although a bit dated, was clean and quiet. the best part of our experience was the superfriendly service from start to finish. the staff always had a smile on their faces and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They even accommodated our special requests for our dog without any problems. the wellness area with the sauna and jacuzzi was a nice bonus.
We found it to be excellent value for money. Cons: Nothing to fault.

I had always wanted to visit the Basilica of St Plechelm in Oldenzaal, so I chose Het Landhuis for its convenient location. But I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary wireless Internet access, allowing me to stay connected and share my wonderful trip with friends and family. The free WiFi made my stay even more enjoyable.
Exceptionally cold weather when I was there, so heating struggled a little. Thicker duvets maybe.

I absolutely loved the cozy atmosphere of this charming hotel. The decoration had a rustic charm that made me feel right at home. The beautiful garden and terrace were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the fresh air. The hotel was also very accessible for senior people like myself, with everything conveniently located on the ground floor and easily accessible without any stairs or elevators.
The only thing I would have liked is for there to be more activities specifically catered towards senior guests. While the staff was wonderful, it would have been nice to have a few more options for us to socialize and engage with other guests our age.
